Because of the historical significance of the park. In 1858, William Foulke excavated the world’s first complete dinosaur skeleton. Until that point in time, the small fragments of fossilized dinosaurs were found. The complete skeleton of hadrosaurus, as it was named, proved that these huge lizard-like creatures once roamed the earth. The park features a nature walk to the site of the hadrosaurus excavation, so dinosaur lovers and hikers alike would enjoy this Camden County park.

Cooper River Park: Located in Pennsauken, NJ, a town near Cherry Hill, Cooper River Park offers visitors a relaxing place to walk, reflect, and participate in sports. During the winter, ice skating is available on the frozen river, and the summer time is perfect to play baseball, basketball, and softball on one of the many fields in the park. Cooper River Park also features a ¼-mile cinder track, volleyball courts, and a pooch park for dog walkers and lovers.
