What is Not Covered Under Warranty?

  • The Powertrain Preferred Plan covers basic repairs to areas such as the engine, transmission, suspension, and fuel system.
  • The Silver Preferred Plan offers the same coverage as the Powertrain plan plus Nissan air conditioning and towing services.
  • The Gold Preferred Plan is the highest-level plan you can choose and provides the same coverage as the Powertrain and Silver plans plus virtually all of the other major components of your Nissan.

What the Plans Don’t Cover

While signing up for a Nissan Security+Plus Extended Protection Plan will helps you feel safe and secure in the event of a vehicle issue, it’s still important to understand what’s not included in this coverage. Among the areas not covered in these protection plans are wiper blades, tires and wheels, brake rotors and pads, carpet and upholstery, and water leaks.
